Capital Compactors had been using a PDF system to annotate service and repair jobs on equipment at customers’ sites. This created a lot of administration, but with poor visibility to the business. How we helped
We have not only transformed the way Capital Compactors records information, but we have also integrated a number of other vital business functions into the company’s record-keeping, including stock, routing, sales and an import function to their QuickBooks finance package.
Part of the challenge was helping Capital Compactors’ business staff adapt to a new system after using the same one for nearly a decade. While very technical when it comes to designing, installing and servicing compactors and balers, staff were concerned about the potential disruption caused by the transition. However, we were on hand to offer an excellent level of support, not only to field service engineers on the road but also to key office personnel, to help introduce the systems and new add-ons that would improve their daily efficiency.
